Something About the Beatles: 178: Chris Carter

Oct 8, 2019

The host of the longest running Beatles program on US radio,
Carter’s passion for The Beatles has taken many forms through the
years: buying the records as a child – becoming a musician himself
– getting involved in Beatlesque bands – taking on a job as a
broadcaster. He has now hosted the Los Angeles franchise of
Breakfast with the Beatles since 2001; since its
inception in 2018, Chris has also hosted the program on the Sirius
XM Beatles channel.

Chris is also a producer and documentary filmmaker; a rock writer
and a Beatles consultant (connected to the All Things Must
Pass
reissue in 2000). Mostly though, Chris is a fan like
us. Few of us wouldn’t exchange places if we could, if just
for a little while.
